Does Convos cost anything to try?
No. Our Intro group plan allows you to manage up to 5 people and store up to 50 MB in the Group Files module. Your Intro group never expires and you are not required to enter a credit card until you upgrade the group.
How do I upgrade a group?
To upgrade a group, simply select the group and click the Upgrade button located in the group administration panel on the bottom left of the Convos interface. From there, you can change your group's plan or upgrade the group file storage.
When am I charged for a group upgrade?
When you first upgrade your group, you will be charged a prorated amount based on the number of days remaining in the current month. You will be charged the full price of the plan each subsequent month.
Example: It's June 10th and you upgrade your group to our Medium plan at $30 / month. You will be charged $20 for the 20 days remaining in June. On July 1st, you will be charged the full $30.

What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Once your credit card has been approved, you can use it to upgrade any group where you are an administrator.
Are credit card transactions secure?
Yes. All billing related transactions pass through our secure gateway and we do not store your credit card information on our servers. We use VeriSign's 128-bit encryption certificates to ensure secure data transfer.
If I upgrade, is there a long-term commitment?
No. You can downgrade your group at any time. When you downgrade, you will receive a prorated refund based on your actual usage in the current billing period. For example, if you have a Medium group plan and decide to downgrade to the Intro plan in the middle of the month, Convos will refund you for the unused portion of the Medium plan at the time of the downgrade.
If I have a group with a Medium plan, when will I be charged for additional members?
At the end of the month, your additional member charges will reflect the actual membership size for the month. For example, if you added 5 extra members (over the 25 member limit) at the end of the month, the $1.50 / member charge will be prorated based on when each member joined.
Can another group administrator take over a group upgrade?
Yes. If another group administrator decides to replace you as the sponsor, you will receive a refund for the unused portion that you paid for. The new group sponsor will be charged based on the remaining days in the current month.
